Frequently Asked Questions

  • On the day of your appointment, you will uninstall your car seat and place it on your doorstep. We will come by at the scheduled pickup time, ~6pm, and pick up your car seat and/or stroller. We then transport them to our home and clean the gear in accordance with the manufacturer instructions. In the morning, we reassemble as necessary and deliver them back to your doorstep by 9am.

  • We are currently serving the greater Reno/Sparks metro area. If you live outside of our current service area, please send an email to hunter@renocarseatcleaning.com. We may be able to accommodate exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

    If demand in other areas becomes great enough, we may look at expanding our service area!

  • We strive for the simplest solutions first and start out using water and air. Maintaining the integrity of your gear is our #1 priority so we clean all of the surfaces in accordance with the manufacturer instructions. If the fabric of the seat is able to be washed, we use Molly’s Suds unscented laundry powder and treat stains using Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Treater unscented spray. Both of these are non-toxic, dye-free and made with simple ingredients. We also use Dawn Dish Soap to fight tough stains and to clean the plastic shell of the seat. (Please let us know if you don’t want us to use Dawn.)

  • We require payment in full upon booking.

  • You can reschedule through your confirmation email. If you have any questions, please DM me on Instagram or fill out the contact form.

  • You can cancel your appointment through your confirmation email, but ask that you make every effort to reschedule before cancelling. For appointments cancelled within 24 hours of your scheduled pickup time, we do not offer any refunds.
